Tra-Con Color Keyed, High Temperature Epoxy Adhesive
BAF253 is a low viscosity, high temperature, two-part epoxy formulation that changes color during the curing process to indicate cure status.
Features:
- Packaged in a 2 gram rigid plastic tube separated by a leak-proof clamp (BIPAX) which eliminates mix ratio errors
- Excellent wicking, and develops strong, tough mechanically stable bonds
- Good impact and thermal shock resistance
- Low stress
- Resistant to water and weathering, vapors and gases, most petroleum products, and an extended range of organic and inorganic environments
- Can be used on a wide variety of fiber optic and optical materials that includes most metals, ceramics, glass and many plastics
- Yields excellent pot and polish fiber optic connections
- This package will prepare approximately 25~30 fiber optic connectors
Mixing Instruction:
- Remove the clamp and mix right inside the BIPAX.
Colors:
- Unmixed components: Light yellow
- Mixture: Green/blue
- Fully cured: Reddish-amber
