Our square silver-coated mirrors are available in 1/2″, 1″, and 2″ sizes and have the highest reflectance of all metal-coated mirrors for the visible wavelength range. Silver is an ideal choice for high reflectance from 450 nm to 20 µm. In order to protect the mirrors from oxidation, they have an overcoat of SiO2. This overcoat helps to protect silver from tarnishing, high humidity environments should be avoided.
