- The shipboard cable is a qualified MIL-PRF-85045 cable. The cable consists of low smoke zero halogens (LSZH) jacketing materials and tight-buffered fibers. The tight-buffered fibers are inside of 2mm color-coded sub-units, which means this is a break-out style cable. The shipboard cable is watertight and flexible. The cable is sold as bulk cable or as a completed cable assembly.
